VIP Catalogue Layout

Here's an layout created for a VIP program that encourages customers to purchase goods with a reward program. The catalogue was created in Adobe Indesign.

Art History layout

This art project focused on major art pieces in world history. A Storyboard and Script was required for this promotional video and flash animation content alongside Associates from the History, Media & Communications and Marketing departments.

Hardware store ad

This ad was created to focus on different tools sold by this Hardware store. Every week this ad would feature a new piece of equipment. This ad involved Interacting with other graphic designers and receiving guidance, feedback and trade tips for a well-rounded developmental experience and while staying abreast of design trends.

Furniture Store Layout

Another template created for a popular furniture store. Applying the graphic communications theories and practices gained from educational and personal experience in a highly dynamic team based setting.

TF Trailbreaker Model Sheet

A pencil sketch for an upcoming online comic, based on the writers description. This sketch was also used for other artist as a guide to the character.

Boxing Day Templates

This template was created for the local Canadian Tire stores in which each store manager can input their own products. Template was created in Adobe Creative Suite.

Another ad developed in the jewelry series. This ad was created using products available in the store. 

Canadian Tire Christmas

Another template designed so that each store in the chain can insert their own content. This ad was published regionally and designed in Creative Suite. 

Book Depot Ad

An ad for a book depot outlet. Another template that would run daily showcasing different books.

Weight Loss Center

This ad was created for a local weight loss center. Every week the ad would showcase a different person from the center who succeeded in the center's program. Photos were provided by the client.

This cover designed for a magazine showcasing special deals in local stores. Designed in photoshop.

Fine Furniture Layout

A concept created in collaboration with the sales rep and client, this ad was published in various magazines. This template was designed so that every week a different employee was featured.

Canadian Tire Christmas Ad

One of several templates created for Canadian Tire christmas blitz. These templates were designed with blank boxes with the intention that each store can inform the ad builder which products they wish to showcase. This also allowed a customized ad that best suited their inventory. The template style was created using Adobe Creative Suite. 

Home Builders

This was designed for a home builder showcasing their open houses throughout the Niagara region. Using images provided by their photographer, this ad was designed in Photoshop.

This ad was designed to appear in an advertising coupon magazine. Designed using vector and raster images in Adobe Creative Suite.

Basketball Mobile Game

Interesting story on these character designs. I was contacted by a Korean mobile company to design characters for a comic book series based on their online basketball game. After coming up with a script and characters they decided to pull the plug and not go ahead with my idea. Ironically one of their competitors from China saw these illustrations and hired me to continue on the story and design. Here are the sketches, once the game comes out I will post the final images here! 

Club Flyer Art

This illustration appeared in a Club flyer. Penciled art scanned then inked and coloured digitally. 

Decor Template

A template designed for a decor company. The intention was to provide a template in which the writing would change from week to week. The ad was created using photos provided by the client. Designed in Adobe Creative Suite. 

Fashion Art

I'm not a fashion designer, but I do get a lot of commission to do these quick drawings. Usaully they accompany articles or something like that. I did this one a while back. All done on tablet then coloured in photoshop.

Coupons Booklet

Working with the Special Events Co-ordinator. This concept was created for a new marketing initiative. Clients could now enclose their ads in a customized format within a advertising booklet. This booklet would allow customers with unique incentives. The cover was designed in Adobe Creative Suite.

Brick Opening Ad

Here is an ad created for the Brick in Niagara Falls.  The client requested that the ad be fully integrated within their range of marketing,  creative and brand management services to effectively promote the Brick's brand and reputation. Needless to say they were quite pleased with this ad. 

Volcano Magazine Spread

Here is a magazine spread designed using a collection of images and other graphic design elements to make a layout more exiting. Many of the images were cropped and enlarged to make a more dramatic reading. Created in Adobe InDesign.

Photoshop Classes

Here is a poster I designed for a Photoshop class I was teaching almost 12 years ago. I also developed the course manual for the class I taught. The course required that my instruction was flexible as every student was at a different skill level in Photoshop. Therefore I had to utilize a variety of instruction medium resources and provide individualized instruction within a class of approximately 15 or more students. Also, because it was located in Montreal at the time, I was required to offer some students instruction in French. I made sure that the course stayed relevant by updating the curriculum with many resources and references taken from news events, pop culture and applying them with current design trends in the Graphic Design world. I provided all the materials for the class which included exercises in graphic design, illustration, layouts, style, templates, colour schemes and theory while preparing them for the production end of design, including technical printing press theory.

Triple Changer Concept

A concept for an online comic book character. Based on descriptions from the writer's script, this bot would transform between futuristic Fighter ship to a ground tank. 

Celebrations Section

The celebrations section in a fashion magazine involved a lot of researching, conceptualizing, developing and executing the creative solutions of various tools in line with the magazine brand platform. This campaign was also  supported by efforts to elevate the brand equity through all customer touch points: flyers, point-of-purchase promotions, fashion posters, signs, display racks and shelves, packaging, labels & hang tags, windows, PR media tools (fashion lookbook and preview, special events, contests, etc.), promotional tools (gift cards, coupon and even more!
